HOUSEBOUND

This is an example of low budget movie yet, can still be cute. The story is mixed between thriller or horror and comedy. So, it's more like comedy horror.  But, still the actress and actor play very well.

The story is about a young girl (though I don't think the face is young enough) who was sentenced to stay at her home, as house bound. She who has left the house for some times, has to live with her parent in their old house.

The funny thing happen when Kylie starts to hear some noises in her house while she staying alone or at night. She, as a modern girl, refused her mother thought that the house maybe haunted. So she started to find out what it was about.

With the help of a jail officer who is interested in ghost stuff, they both try to look for the truth, which brought them to their reality that the house, before was a mental hospital, and there was a girl killed there. When the story becomes a kind of horror, this two decided to check on the neighbor who lives alone just beside their yard.

Kylie is trying to steal his false tooth to match one he found in her house attic, when finally the mystery was wiped out by the story of that man, telling that he once had an adopted child who ran away from house for doing little kid mess, and refuse to come up again, he lives in basement for years, so that could be him who walked around the house all these times.

Interesting and funny, but too bad the language is rude, and I don't think it's good for your kids.
