KUNGFU JUNGLE

Release on October 2014 -
If you're looking for a kungfu parodi movie, then you are wrong, because that's Kungfu Hustle by Stephen Chow.

In this movie you can see the next Jet Lee, Donnie Yen in  a very serious movie. It's been a long time that I haven't seen a real kungfu movie. In decades before, kungfu movies always took background of old chinese kingdom or dynasty and culture, but not quite much movie can adapt this traditional martial art into modern movie as good as this one.

The story is about Hahou Mo (Donnie Yen) who one of the finest kungfu warrior left, was involved in a fight that made him killed one of his enemy, and in this modern society, he has to get trial and put to sentenced in prison.
While he was there, in the outside, there were killings involving some kungfu warriors left and known by Mo. So as he saw them on TV, he decided to help the police detective Luk (Charlie Yeung) to solved the case.

And after some more killing to kungfu warriors, finally they get the clue that the murderer was one of the greatest kungfu warrior too, who frustrated by the death of his sick wife. Fung Yu-Sau (Baoqiang Wang) was so sad and crushed by the death of his beloved wife, and in search of his peace of man, he tried to fight all of the finest kungfu warrior left in this modern life, so he could become number one, just for fun maybe. Well, so Mo was worried about his girlfriend back in village. So, actually, he knew who did it, but at the same time, Mo, need to get out of prison to protect his girlfriend.

Overall, this movie is entertaining, fun, and bringing up the memory of kungfu era. And the fight at the highway was very original, and great innovation.
